Is this a rooster?

This is my first time raising chickens and this one has a significantly bigger comb and wattle but doesn't show any signs of being male besides that. Can anyone tell me is they're a rooster? The breed is buff orpington

Looks like a rooster too me, but a side view would help me confirm.

How old is this bird? If it is close to laying age then comb growth is normal. A side view that shows the hackle feathers will tell you it's gender.

They're 18 weeks old and this one is the only one with this much growth.

Yea, I think that's a pullet as well. It doesn't look like a roo to me, not at 18 weeks.

Definitely on the verge of laying pullet. You're lucky she's maturing fast. My orps always seem the slowest to mature.
