I thought it was a cockerel until a year old?How old is the bird? If less than16 weeks, it's a cockerel.
They are, but only a hen would be that red if it were close to lay, about 20 weeks. So any age below 16 weeks means it a young male.I thought it was a cockerel until a year old?
