Is this a rooster?

7 chicks now, she is not sitting on the other eggs anymore. They are so cute and tiny. They are all black with white bellies and yellow wings. Must be dominique chicks? I cant remember.

They're so cute! Please move them to a safe place now that they are all hatched. I'd hate for all that cuteness to become vermin dinner.

They are safe in the chicken coop. No need to worry. Checked on them all this morning, they are all well. Why do chicks insist on standing in the water dish?

yeah i just started to read im glad i went all the way through all of it..
i was going to yell at everyone that said it was a rooster. those tail feathers are the only sign of it being a roo. the picture is kinda fuzzy but there was no saddle feathers and also its darker in color most cockerals that i have are lighter in color after 3 months i dont need to be guessing anymore. plus 5 month is old enough that that comb should be way way bigger.
im glad she went broody to finally set your mind at ease.
those baby are beautiful.

I couldn't help but send one more photo. I get so excited when I go see them, and have to run back in the house to get the camera!
