Is this a rotten egg

Hi all I've taken this egg out of the incubator I can't candle eggs as they are maran eggs and are too dark is this a rotten egg please

To my knowledge there isn’t a way to tell if an egg is rotten just by looking at it. Does it smell? I have had rotten eggs, but you could smell it when sniffed.

Smell it if it stinks its rotten

I blew the photo up, yes its rotten thats bacterial growth from the inside.

There's no way to tell by looking outside unless its already cracked and oozing

You'll know if it's rotten as soon as you open the incubator. Give it a sniff, and if you don't puke, put it back.

If it is oozing (which it appears to be), it is rotten and should be tossed.

Check that there's no clear yellow goo stuck on the eggshell. If you find any throw it out.
