Hi, I received this chick as part of a “Feather-Legged Bantam Assortment,” which in the description mentioned that it could include Silkies, Barred Rocks, Millie D’Fleurs, e.t.c. If anyone has information on the sex that would be so helpful too! Thanks!

Yup, a silkie. You can see the walnut comb and too many toes. I can't help you on gender.

Definitely a silkie, they’re notorious for being very difficult to sex. It will take a while until you’ll be able to tell it’s gender.

With well bred silkies, you don’t know until it crows or lays an egg sometimes!
