Is this a spur?

Hi I don't know if I've posted this in the right thread,but I'm wondering if this is a spur and why it is only on one leg of my chicken.Her name is Cookie , and she is a year old and tonight I noticed she has what I think is a spur on her one leg,there's a bump on the other leg.I'm wondering why is so big on the other? All my other hens that I got from the same place don't seem to have a big spur.

Once in awhile one will grow a spur.

Older hens sometimes grow spurs. Nothing to worry about unless it makes it difficult for him/her to walk.

Yep! Nothing to worry about! I wouldn't fret unless they are having a hard time walking!

My gold spangled hamburg is also growing one spur. I'll have to take a look tonight when I get home, if I can catch her I'll take a pic. Those hamburgs... flighty things. Great egg producers, but flighty.

Also Spur Could have been knocked off. Spurs can break off and go back. They don’t break off really easily though. Or she just grew one which is fine. Nice spur for hen though!
