Is this a turkey? Please help!!

Hello, i found a turkey (?) wondering around Cambridge (yes odd place for a turkey/?). It has a bad leg and is pretty skinny. I'm keeping it in my old avery for now and am thinking of keeping her (think its a her). I'm just not sure if it is a turkey or another kind of bird, because what would a turkey be doing in the middle of Cambridge!!! Thanks

Hey thanks for the replies, ive had chickens before and this really doesnt look like one. It has really long big feet & a long neck :/ although i could be wrong

WOW what a bird!! Have never seen any thing like it before. I would post in the what breed gender section to find out what this bird is its most intriguing

HA, HA,Lol! NOT.
It's either a Malay, or a Saipan jungle fowl, possibly Asil. If it is a Malay they are extremly rare in the US. I have not found a single breeder. They can get three feet tall.
