ok, i want two or three turkeys this year and i want them to free range in my back yard (1 acre) but i have 4 gardens back there too. Will they raid my garden or do they not really get interested in the garden stuff?

i guess that depends on whats in your garden but i would say yes>

i have watched turkey land on my sweet corn stalks to lay them down to eat, same with sunflowers

I had two turkeys. They took every opportunity available to eat the garden or step on it. I fence out all the birds, but if a turkey managed to breach the fence, they did as a chicken would, just faster.
