If you got the bird from a top breeder of White Plymouth Rocks? That you asked about his breed merely suggested you weren't sure about his heritage, suggesting a feed store bird? Hatchery bird?
It is very easy to produce a white rooster, on yellow legs and single comb, but that doesn't make them a White Rock.
BTW, cockerel chicks are often people's favorites, as chicks. They are precocious. Outgoing. Full of life. Those are things that make them adorable and playful chicks. Unfortunately, those traits give way to testosterone and often times, aggression when they come of age.
