Is this a worm?

I was holding two chicks to take a picture and one pooped down the side of my hand. Part of it hot the floor, but what started on my hands had me worried. These chicks are less than a week old. Hoover to TSC to me. Clean bin with fresh shavings. WARNING: picture ahead.

My question: is this a worm or poop? If it's a worm, it is HUGE to come out of this ultra tiny chick. If it's a worm, can they be worked this young? And how and with what?

The brooder is in the bathroom and I wanted it of my hand. it's the amount my daughter spoiled of and handed to me. I said, "did you see the TP isle?"

Thanks. Just for a funny: I was changing my daughter on my lap one time. Lifted her legs to put a diaper under her butt. A two foot long poop snake shot out of her, across my arm, across the arm of the couch and the floor!
