Is this a worm?

I collected my eggs today and found this. Is it a worm that got encased in the shell? If it is, what do I do with my eggs? What do I give my hens?

I have seen little 'nubs' on eggs before, but nothing that looked like this

Kinda. It seems to have the same calcium as the shell. It is the same color as the egg, when I popped part of it off, that is the 2nd picture. The inside is hollow

No, all between 1.5 and 7 yrs
I think the look of it creeped me out

Well you can rest assured it is 100% not a worm. Just a membrane that didn’t fully form. If it happens again I would dose with calcium.
