Is this a worm?

Found this inside one of the eggs this evening. Do you think this is a tapeworm or roundworm? Thanks for any help you can give.

Tapeworms are flat and segmented, roundworms look like spagetti. That is chalaza.

Thanks. I didn't think it was roundworm but had almost convinced myself that it was tapeworm. Really hoping it wasn't a worm as it seemed huge! In three years of having chickens I hadn't noticed the chalaza being so pronounced. Thanks again I feel much better.

Here's some poultry tapeworm pics: You can see they are flat and segmented, some are stringy like jellyfish tentacles. If you ever see white "rice-like" segments in feces, it's a sign that one or more birds have tapeworms, see the bottom pic.
