Hi all - these chicks are 6 weeks old. I am posting the sister for comparison. She has no wattle development.
If she is a he I will need to rehome her in northern oregon!

How months old are they already? because you can only certainly know that they are rooster if when they reach 5months old. Roosters at that age have distinctively glossy, angular saddle and hackle feathers.

I don't know, it's not a really clear picture and the wattles are not that crazy for a 6-week old. I say wait about 2-3 weeks and repost a picture and we should be able to tell what gender.
I had a Silver Laced Wyandotte pullet that looked just like this comb-and-wattle wise at 3 1/2 weeks. I was sure she was a cockerel.

Thanks! That is reassuring. Will do

Definitely looking like a cockerel. Post updated pics of the first one in 2 weeks.
