I've read a lot of chicken poo posts and searched images of normal/abnormal, but cannot quite find anything that looks like what I am seeing. I don't know which hen this belongs to, but it caught my attention this morning and I am worried one of my girls might be sick. They are all currently acting normal - picking and scratching at the ground, etc. - so I'd like to catch anything that might be wrong before it gets worse.

Do any of you know if this is abnormal poo and what it might be?

My take on it is yes. This is normal. It has a bit of white (perfectly normal) and the liquid I don't think needs to be worried about. I hope that some other members who know this area better, will speak up and confirm. Best of luck!

She pooped and realeased a soft shelled egg...Do you provide oyster shell?...Has she ever laid before?

I'm not sure which hen this poop belongs to, but we have 6 hens and they have all laid eggs before. They are about 8 months old, and they all lay regularly except for one (Easter Egger) who lays pretty inconsistently. She started squatting again about 2 days ago, so I'm expecting an egg from her soon.

Whoops - forgot to mention in my reply that we do provide oyster shell and layer feed.
