is this an acceptable comb colour for a silkie roo

I know red isn't acceptable but I'm not sure if this is ok or not. If I breed from him will the offspring have red combs? Is his comb the wrong colour?

They are supposed to have dark flesh, like slate or blue, but I am not an expert.

His skin is black, and he has the 5 toes etc. It's only his comb and wattles that have went this maroon colour as hes maturing. I just need to know if this is a good or bad thing before I get rid of him, I have others that are still all black but I think he has a better shape.
