Is this an Ameraucana mix Roo?

The person I got my Roo from said he was an Ameraucana RIR mix. He's definitely got a lot of Ameraucana genes, and I'm wondering how much if any RIR is in there.

I have him over two RIR hens, do you think there offspring will lay colored eggs? I have no idea which sex carries the colored egg gene.

He is a beauty, and the cross may very well be as stated. Any daughters would be at best 25% Ameraucana and the possibility of colored eggs would be somewhat of a crapshoot.

I'm guessing half and half...maybe you could talk to the person you got him from again?
