Yep thats what Im thinking too, probably an EE X American Game. I did find a pic of a bearded Austrailian game roo but he didnt really look like this one.

He is a handsome boy! He just had me thrown for a loop on what in world could he be?? LOL!

Wow, someone guessed it before me! Yes, he's certainly not an Easter Egger at all, but instead a gamecock. Uncommon leg color, wrong body type, very low wing carriage and very pronounced tail as well as a very gamey head to be an Easter Egger.

chickenaddictntn - Your "Ameraucana" was an Easter Egger. Look up the standard.

Thanks for confirming Chris, I'm pretty sure I had heard of them before but I was googleing Bearded Gamefowl instead of Muffed Gamefowl and I wasnt getting anything. And yes, anyone feel free to hand me a $20 bill. Or two or a hundred of them lol

That's him!!! OMG I didn't think of a gamefowl per say, especially muffed, but it so makes sense now. His workers are mostly Mexican and South American descendant (tree farm and exotic animals) so game cock would certainly fit in. He screams like you are killing him when you pick him up but hasn't been aggressive towards me. He has never been loose with my flock but has 2 hens in his pen to keep him company. He is very sweet to them - not that I would expect otherwise. Now, what to do with him LOL! Guess I will keep him around as something pretty to look at. Don't think I would be able to let him go in my free range flock. Thankfully he doesn't "appear" to have been used for anything illegal. His spurs are very long and intact. He has a very short cushion type comb nut can't tell if it's natural or dubbed.
Is a muffed gamefowl an APA recognized breed?

To the poster who asked for picks of my coop....I will have to get some new ones. I was embarrassed when I saw the tarp off the end on the one pic. My tarps need to be replaced anyway and the winds last week tore up the ends. When we moved in that strip of cages where the roo stays was all rabbit hutches. So we added on to that by closing it in for my first coop. Well, you know how it goes and soon we added on to that so my whole coop/run is 1600 sq. feet now. Unless there is something going on they free range on 5 acres daily. The Delawares and 2 NN's are the only ones that are cooped separate right now because I want pure eggs from them and they should be laying any day. In the one pick is my very nosy Del. hen Frankie. She made a perfect creeper picture LOL!
