Is this an Australorp?

Hi just wondering if anyone can confirm this breed. Guessing Australorp or black sex linked?

I can't really tell if it's just the lighting, or if she really does have gold in those neck feathers. Did she have any yellow/white on the chest as a chick, or was she solid black? Are the bottoms of the feet yellow?

All black, almost irredescent green and blue. Legs black and I will check bottom of feet tonight.

Above the same space that you type there are different icons. To post pics from your device I clicked on the picture icon (picture of a square with sun and mountains)

Selected the rectangle that says upload files

Then selected files from my iPad

Then pressed submit

To the OP (Welcome to BYC!), it looks like a Black Australorp (BA) hen to me! I have three and they are so 'flighty!'

If the bottoms of her feet are an obvious yellow (unlikely), she's a Black Jersey Giant. If they are any other color (whitish, pinkish, grayish), she's a Black Australorp.

I am so glad I am not going crazy - my screen does not have all of this! No options on top or the side. But it may be because I am on my tablet, not a computer. I will have to try tomorrow from the computer!
