EE's are mix breeds, that don't have to have green shanks.

True. EEs can have ANY color legs, ANY color eyes, ANY color plumage, and lay ANY color egg. They are mixed, not rhyme or reason to them. I've had them with slate legs like a true Ameraucana, white legs and yellow legs as well as greenish legs.
