Is this an indication of trouble?

Im just looking for some opinions. I have a chicken who just started laying about two weeks ago. At first she laid a very strange looking egg then started to lay normal ones every day for the past week. Today she was in her nesting box like she was going to lay an egg but never did. She got down and is walking around and acting normal. Is it ever normal for them to get into the box and NOT lay an egg?

I believe so. It takes them a while to get the egg-laying thing figured out.

I have some adult hens that get in nest boxes and get out without laying an egg. It's probably fine.
