Is this an internal pip in my duck egg? It is in the back of the air cell.

That's called shadowing where the duckling is starting to press against the membrane. You should see movement. The beak will be poking into the air cell a significant amount when it pips internally.

My Muscovy ducklings did the shadowing for quite a few days before pipping internally.

Ok i hear peeping and stuff but i cant see the beak. There is a lot more shadowing though
