Yes. Make sure they have free-choice grit & you'll be just fine feeding that (but not too much, of course!). Beware: They'll follow you around til dusk after you feed them a yummolicious treat like this!

My girls eat it, but only if there are no crickets, mealworms or scrambled eggs to be found!
