Is this an okay broody setup?

My Buff Orpington is broody for the first time and did NOT want to be broken, so I decided to give it a go. She's very determined, but had been bullied out of her nesting box a few times by other hens wanting to lay there. I didn't want to completely separate her; because I already have two other clutches that need to be integrated in the next weeks... I'm hoping that this way everyone will stay connected?! My flock has historically been really good at accepting newbies.
Will it be sufficient for me to open the cage a couple times a day to see if she wants a dust bath or stretch?!

When my girl was broody I generally took her out for 10-15 min per day watching her and then either she'd put herself back or I'd put her back in and she'd settle down. She might come out herself, but I always like to make sure I know she's eaten and drunk.
Also it's probably a good idea to keep the other hens out of there so they don't break or mess up the eggs, and so your broody isn't scared away. Hope all goes well.

I had a similar set up and did as @OneHappyRooster says and manually evicted my gal once or twice a day so I knew she was eating and drinking. She'd usually take the chance to eat grass, poop, and dust bath. I timed her and she generally clucked around and did her thing for six to eight minutes before putting herself back to bed. Once she went back to a regular brood box on accident so I always made sure to be there to put her in the right place and lock her up. You have a god set up

That looks very cosy! I have mainly Buff Orpingtons in my flock. Most of them go broody every now and again
