Is this Angel wing?

Would it surprise you to know I feed my 27% turkey starter and don't get angel wing, but some people that feed 16% and have angel wing?

Angel wing is not well understood and poultry experts say many things could cause it.

It looks like it’s already corrected after just 24 hours of being wrapped ( duck pulled his own wrapping off). But after a very noisy few minutes I got a new one on the duck just to be sure.

Okay I have fed Purina Flock Raiser from hatch to long life and never had angel wing in any of my waterfowl. They don’t know for sure if it’s excess protein of genetics. If your feeding a feed made for ducks I’d say probably not the feed. How many same age as this one? If none almost makes you think predisposed to getting this. Wrapping should take care of it in less than a week. Glad you decided to go ahead and wrap.

I said excessive protein can contribute to angel wing. Both our articles said this. Both said its not well understood. Just because turkey feed works for one person does not mean it will for another. If it were me i would still switch to 16%.
