Yes, that is a blood ring. The peep has expired, I'm afraid. It's really too early to safely candle, though. Wouldn't do it again till maybe Day 9 or 10. Excellent photo, though.

yea i would wait until day 10 to recandle all of them

Looks like a textbook blood ring. Wont hurt to leave it in a bit longer, but I can almost promise you the same result on that one. Blood rings like that mean the embryo has expired before it got started good. Just recandle those you think you have blood rings in on about Day 6. I never leave in definite blood rings, especially this early. They can begin to rot by the time you're halfway through incubation.

I had one like that but very dark red at day 10 when I candled...at day 15 it was still the same.

It happens sadly. The peep just did not get a good start for whatever reason.
