Ok I don't understand. I've never lost a chick before. I've had 2 in the last week. One seems to be doing OK but poop looks like this sometimes. Other times it is totally normal looking. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. My other chick is the mystery chick I received. He was doing great until this evening. They were born May 25th. His eyes are closing and I am dropper feeding him now. I'm so worried about them.

Hatched May25th so 10 days old.
Can you get some photos of the chicks and brooder?

Symptoms would help - you say he's not doing well - anything else besides closing the eyes? Can't stand, not eating/drinking....?

Poop looks like cecal poop.

I found a photo of Cecal poop just before seeing your reply & I agree. It looks just like that! I think I am being overly worried about that chick. Totally fine behaviorally.
I fed the Mystery chick by dropper through the night & he seems much better. He can stand but just seems to want to lay down a lot. Whwn he first came here he was always zooming around. I'm wondering if he's not getting enough to eat/drink because he is half the size of the other chicks. I have no idea what he is. The time in a separate brooder may be good for it.

So totally fine behaviorally - does this include being able to eat/drink on it's own?
If totally fine, then why the need to dropper feed through the night?

I would make some wet mash and see if the chick will eat. See that he's drinking well on his own.
You can give Poultry Nutri-Drench at a rate of 2-3 drops twice a day for a boost.

Where did the chicks come from? Could he be a bantam instead of large fowl?
Is he staying under the heat more or just avoiding the other chicks so as not to get run over?

Yesterday he wasn't doing anything but laying off to the side. Wouldn't get up to eat or drink. I put his beak in water and he just sat there unless I put a drop right in. Today behavior is normal. Until yesterday he didn't seem bothered by the others being bigger but they have grown a lot this week & he/she hasn't. He is a mystery chick from McMurray Hatchery.

Hard to know what he is - laying off to the side is concerning, but if he's acting normal now, then that sounds promising.
If the others are a lot bigger, then they may have accidentally bowled him over too - you never know.
