I looked at it again really close up and I have to say that it's definitely not normal poop.

I agree.

I would definitely begin Corid treatment, even if just as a precautionary measure. Corid does little harm to a bird's system, so even if your birds aren't really sick, they won't suffer any ill effects. Make sure you supplement with vitamins at the end of treatment, though.
