Is this box ok for a nesting box or rest area?

We get those boxes often and so I will change them. Any ideas on how often I should change them?

Don’t need to unless they get soggy, when that happens I let mine decompose in the ground. More soil, better soil, less weeds.

Use them to lasagna layer a new garden bed...
...or corrugated cardboard is recyclable.
Not sure they'd be very functional in a chicken coop.
