Is this bumblefoot on my Rooster? What do I do? Has swollen toe.

I noticed tonight that one of my roos has a swollen accessory metatarus on one leg. Any suggestions how to treat?

These are the pictures of his foot pad and his swollen metatarsus. Please, any suggestions? He is walking fine. Not limping. But I don't want him to have an infection. He is my favorite. He is 3 years and 3 months old.
 
My that is a big toe! How long has it been that way? Chickens can get a touch of frostbite on the tip of the toe, and it will look swollen and clubbed just above the necrotic tissue, but they will usually lose the nail and tip of the toe. Staphylococcus, E.coli, and mycoplasma synovitis can both cause swelling in the joints, but I think you would find swelling in at least the ankle or hock. My advice would be to change the name of your thread to " swollen toe" which may get more poeple to look at this thread. Here is some reading for you:
