Is This Cancer?

My white rock had these nasty looking hard bumps all over when we began to process him. He'd had one on his wing that wasn't responding to treatment so I was going to cut the wing off and use the rest of the meat. Not now! The more I plucked the more of these things I found. What are they? Anyone dealt with this before? I'm probably going to do a necropsy when I get a chance. He's in the freezer now.

Clinical Description

In Marek's disease, affected feather follicles can become roughened and develop ulcers. These ulcers may develop secondary infections, exacerbated by the immunosuppressive nature of Marek’s disease.

How many others do you have and were any of them vaccinated?

I've got 40 now, but am pretty sure most weren't vaccinated. We just don't see Marek's here in our area. I'm in Idaho.
