Is This Chick Frizzled?

Is this chick slow to 'frizzle' or is it just a wonky smooth feathered bird? 15 days old (most of my frizzles are more frizzled by this age)

It is definitely Frizzled. It could possibly be Frazzled.

No, not a frazzle - I'd never do that breeding. The mother is a frizzle, father is smooth feathered. This one just seems slow to start frizzling.

I'd like to ask same question. I have 3 chicks about 3-4 weeks old. They are mixed breed... possibly some EE in there. The place where I got them has no frizzle birds and all are pure breds except EE. This chick's feathers are very odd. I was thinking frizzle, but not sure where that would have come from. Another thought is parasite? Is there a parasite that lives inside the blood supply of the feather shaft?
