I would try to slowly get it out of its remaining shell, then! Try cracking off tiny pieces.

Turns out it was attached by a tiny tiny string. I’ll let it fluff up a bit and I’m going to put it with the rest of the hatch that hatched out Thursday

It’s the middle of the night where I live now, so I tucked it underneath momma hen and the rest of the hatchlings, for the best chance on acceptance.

It was very much alive and kicking, I’ll post pics tomorrow!
