Is this normal chicken poop?

How old is she? Is it hot out? Mine do that when they drink lots of water. Could also be trying to flush a foreign body out.

My chicks look more like that. My hens food seems better digested. Both happen when it's hot or they had extra protein the day before.

All my chickens are 4 - 5 months all. They are drinking a lot as I put some medication in their water to help them stop sneezing and they love the taste. Would that be the reason?

It’s also been quite hot this week so they might be drinking more because of that as well

I think you shouldn't worry. More than likely the heat. My chicks just had similar poop yesterday and it was their first full day outside. My hens are struggling in the heat also and 2 kept laying soft eggs. Then the watered down poo. I took one to the vet. She said she was too thin. Poo was normal. Blamed the soft eggs on the heat. I started feeding them scrambled eggs with crushed tums and I had splatters this morning. I mean, I found runny poo in the chicken run. Lol. I think that may be the extra protein they have been getting in the eggs. Also, read that silkies are just thin so I calmed down. I have had normal eggs again the last 2 days but it also has been cooler. Yes. My chickens are silkies too. Really think you are fine. Medication and heat combined can do that.

I found a silkie learning center that has also helped. You might like it. I found it looking for a way to remedy my soft eggs.
