I know people who show their goats bathe their goats , I haven't given mine a bath I have had them a year but I have washed them down with plain water.

I worry about skin irritation from some soaps so I don't want to risk it.

I will let you know how that goes later this year. He is a buck and pretty calm as far as I see and handle him. Kinda hard to catch but once caught he does whatever.

Maybe you can find a favorite treat that he will always come to?

I try not chasing them cause it really becomes habit really fast , the reason I say this is cause God forbid one ever get out on the road and you need to coax them back a treat trick would be a good way without having to run after them and they bolt like lightening. We also use a call for our goats Mine sounds like MMMMMMM, and my daughter has one she uses hers is AAAAAAAAAAAA with a little throaty sound to it and the goats answer back and come close to the fence as we call out more.

We started doing this with food in hand so they associate us + sound + food = Good

I don't know about everyone's goats but mine are very food driven even for a chip, cookie they will go nuts they love oatmeal cookies.
Maybe they are training us lol, so we will give them goodies haha....I think they have a plan to over run the world.
