I personally prefer to buy from somebody who is very picky with biosecurity, because it means they take their business serious and at the end it will keep you safer, too, in case the seller's animals have some kind of disease.
The price of $15 for Golden Maran chicks is reasonable and chicks are never 100% easy to sex. However, maybe an offer for replacement could have been nice in case one of the chicks turns out to be a cockerel.
I just hope for you, that they both turn out to be pullets and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
