is this dead

Awww.... sweet little yellow fuzzies.. This pic looks very much like my hovabator and in playing with the possible scenarios for best and quickest turning I have the cartons (3 of them) up on some hard plastic lids about 1/2 inch high

so that the cartons can be tipped front to back in one movement. Am I supposed to tip them side to side also or is front to back enough movement?
Back and front is fine!

I let my shipped eggs set in the upright position without turning for 24 hours after I received them in the mail. Then the next day I put them in the Incubator laying down on their sides. They developed their for the last 16 days great with the automatic turner. I'm a few days away from hatching so I will keep you posted how they do.

Do you have detached or misshapen air cells?

Well, what about the turning schedule? With an auto turner..... well, you know the rest. I read that 3 - 4 times a day is what is needed. What about through the night? My hubby is going to throw me into the chicken coop if I have to get up and down 3 - 4 times all night for 3 weeks!!! I can do 4 times during the day, early morn, mid day, mid after and early evening... How about that?
