Better comb pic?If it has three rows in its comb you have boy, your Ee looks Exactly like mine who is a cockerel and is 5 weeks old and is one of the biggest of our bunch.
Having 3 prominent rows in a pea comb doesn’t mean a male for sure in Easter Eggers or any pea combed breed.Better comb pic?If it has three rows in its comb you have boy, your Ee looks Exactly like mine who is a cockerel and is 5 weeks old and is one of the biggest of our bunch.
I have heard that but wasn’t sure I’m new to chickens and keep hearing it’s hard to determine if Easter Eggers are male or female till they start crowing or laying eggs. We have couple obvious ones that have the curling tails already but not sure on this one.Having 3 prominent rows in a pea comb doesn’t mean a male for sure in Easter Eggers or any pea combed breed.
It’s misinformation that some people keep pushing. Also having a curly tail isn’t always indicative of a cockerel.I have heard that but wasn’t sure I’m new to chickens and keep hearing it’s hard to determine if Easter Eggers are male or female till they start crowing or laying eggs.
