hey guys, I have a quick question. A bunch of my eggs looked really good last night, with veins and tiny little embryos. I pulled one out tonight to just take a quick peek, and it did not look right. So then I looked at all the eggs that were looking good yesterday, and most looked like this:
Are they alive, or did I somehow kill them since last night?
Here's one picture of one of the eggs that seemed to be coming along slower than the others. I have three that look like this. I know the picture's not very good, but you can make out veins:
These are day six duck eggs. What do you all think? I'm so worried that the first egg up there is dead. If it is, I probably only have about three viable eggs left out of 16

I also compared them to Metzer's duck egg candling sequence, which helps a lot because they're duck eggs and they develop slower than chicken eggs. Really thinking this guy quit on me. I asked in a thread in the duck forum too so hopefully I get a solid answer. I'm thinking at this point I'll just leave them in the incubator and watch them for a few days.
