I have a Rhode Island Red hen and a Brahma rooster. The RIR has started to lay again and I want to incubate her eggs. The Brahma rooster has been mounting her. I want to know if this RIR egg is fertile or not before I try incubating her eggs.

You mean Fertilized? Yes it's fertilized.

So, she is fertile, & capable of reproducing. If she wasn't fertile, she'd fail to reproduce despite the male being fertile.

There's a difference between the words.

Meaning I can incubate the eggs right?
