I think this egg is fertile. I wanted to know if it was dead or alive because it was 6 days old.

It appears fertile. Eggs are typically viable to around 10 days but some longer than that have hatched

When you say 6 days old are you talking 6 days of incubation or 6 days since laid?

6 days since laid. I left it in the hen laying box to see if any of the hens will go broody.

You can typically see development by day 3-4
