I'm new to this so I opened an egg to look at a yolk to practice identifying fertile eggs but I have no clue if it is or not! The images I've been looking at show firtle ones having a white ring and infirtile ones just have the white dot. This one has a white dot and a dark ring. Anyone know what that means? My best guess is infirtile because we think all the birds are female but with chukars it's really just a guess lol

Yeah lol it would. I thought I had put one in another post but I have a spotty internet connection currently so I guess it didn't get through. Anyway, here it is! It was really difficult to take so hopefully you can see well enough

xs 2- That one is a hard call. It looks more like blastodisk than blastoderm, but I can aso see what you are talking about with almost a darker shadow around it.
ohh okay so it's probably isn't fertilized. Thanks! I threw the rest in the incubator anyway and I'll see what happens
