Is this egg normal?

I don't see any males....but those eggs sure do look fertile!

Nobody thinks the BO standing in the middle of the first picture looks like it has longer tail feathers coming in? Looks suspicious to me, but I suppose he would be crowing long ago!

Yes, that one gave me pause...but saddles and hackles don't look male.

We have had the Buffs since 2016 my 3 year old got them for Christmas they were only a week old so they have been laying for a while that I know for sure the buffs are ladies and I have caught all the other birds in the boxes except one of the SLW but we seem to get 7 eggs I will upload more pics of our birds here in a bit as well as crack a couple more eggs I’m just puzzled because with the Buffs I never saw eggs like these and we have no Roo and there’s none around us or has access to our ladies. Thank you all for your input it’s greatly appreciated

Do you have neighbors with chickens? Maybe you have a visiting roo? Cuz... those all look like hens and those eggs sure do look fertilized.

I thought all eggs had a germ cell, it should be there and would only develop if fertilised and incubated, so just a germ cell, the girls bit only which won’t develop as unfertilised, the link is an example

Is it only an occasional egg? Do a google search on Parthenogenesis. This may be what is going on. That center Orp gave me pause for consideration as well.
