I was not offened. I was more confused then anything. It left me wondering who the peeps was laughing at my attemp to get the facts or the ones who said it was possible.

My 65 year old Grandmother, who had chickens growing up, just asked me the other day how we got eggs if we didn't have roosters! She honestly didn't know that hens lay eggs, no matter what. I can see how you wouldn't know though, if you had hens and roosters growing up and had eggs. Natural thinking as far as I am concerned. (BTW, my Grammy LOVES my non-rooster helped eggs!)

Well, look at it this way: human women ovulate without a man. Same with chickens. Both are producing eggs.
