the hen has been sat on it for about 1 week, one of the eggs that she was sat on fell and cracked and that had veins and some other things I won't go into detail as its quite upsetting. and they have been incubating for the same timeHow long has the egg been incubating?
does that one look alive? If it about 6 days old, you will see a vascular web forming, which is a little ball, with veins around it. If you see veins, it is alive. If you don't, and it is over 6 days old, it may be dead(or infertile). If you believe it is dead, it is possible that a blood ring formed, which is a little red ring around the egg(inside it, of course). Also, I wouldn't throw it out unless you are completely sure, or unless it starts smelling bad. If it does, it probably is dead and rotten, throw it our so it doesn't explode.
perfect, I will check again in a couple of days and see if there are veins. It looks maybe, but I'd expect way more to be visible.
I also think It could be the way the photos take as there a shadow from my camera as my cameras cracked. I can see some veins in thereIt looks maybe, but I'd expect way more to be visible.
A little hard to see, but if you think you see veins, it is probably alive!does that one look alive?
I had another look this evening! and more veinsA little hard to see, but if you think you see veins, it is probably alive!
