Okay, I've been incubating a lot of eggs here lately. I'm having my third hatch tomorrow. So far I have had a 100% hatch rate. I just started incubating a different hen's eggs as well and it's just.. it's not working out well. Previously all 4 of her eggs hatched great and I had no problems at all. Now I can't tell if this one is fertile, and the second one looks to have a saddled air cell. They come straight from the egg box, to an egg carton. I put new batches in every 4 days.
This egg I can't tell if it is fertile or not. There aren't really any veins showing up, but the line keeps growing. This was taken at 5 or 6 days I believe. The eggs I have put in after this one are further along, I'm not sure if it's just a slow one or what's going on with it.
This picture doesn't really do the egg justice, but it looks like the air cell popped on one side. I'm not sure what to do with it... None of the other eggs look like that.It is growing fine though. This is the first day that the air cell looked like this. Last night I candled them all and didn't see it.
