Is this fowl pix?

My chicken has black things on his comb. Another one has smaller black dots.

are these painful for them? Is it fowl pox?

if so, any home remedies to make them feel better? Will they die? :/

I just became an owner with 3 hens and all have fowl pox...my first time having chickens....no idea about this virus. It's hard to tell from the picture, however, look at mine and compare. I just noticed this 3 days ago...so im new to this...

Fowl pox won't kill your bird, & this looks more like a peck wound from fighting.
Wet pox can be a killer though if not treated properly.

Fowl pox is a virus transmitted by mosquitoes, & will usually run it's coarse over about 3 weeks.

Well my other chicken has little black specks all over his comb too. Looks like really little pen dots or something

@Glaser Coop that does look like mild pox. @chickens45 It might be pox or peck wounds, hard to tell for sure. Here are some good links for fowl pox to read and food pictures to help identify whether it is pox, peck wounds, or tiny insect bites:
