Mild frostbite, will probably not lose tips.

Not sure those black specs are pecks.......I'd say dry pox if it was mosquito season.

Thanks. I was kinda thinking along those lines but also was worried about mites. Gave them all a good look over and didn't see any creepy crawlies. Do mites leave marks like that?

Not sure, never had mites(knocks wood)...but have had black specks on combs and wattles, they come and go and I don't worry about them.

Good to know. I won't worry about them either. Unless I see major changes.
