The tips were purplish on Christmas. Yesterday I thought it was looking better. Today

it looks like this.

Yes unfortunately, that is frostbite. Do not massage or rub the comb, as the comb is painful and it can damage the tissue further. You can leave it alone, or use a hydrogel spray such as Vetericyn on it if she is inside where the temp is above freezing. The comb will heal in a few weeks, and it will become more rounded off.
