Is this frostbite?

RIR - 11 weeks old - have total of 10 but only one with discolored legs. Could this be frostbite? If so please guide as to how to address it.

It doesn't look like frostbite to me. Is this new, or you just noticed it? Could just be normal pigmentation, many birds have spots or mottled coloring on legs and feet. Frostbite will usually have some redness and swelling, the affected areas slowly turn black and eventually the dead tissue drops off. One of the most common causes of frostbite is inadequate ventilation in the coop. When there is not adequate ventilation the moisture from their respirations overnight builds up and condenses on surfaces (like combs, wattles and feet) and frostbite occurs. Feel the inside walls and ceiling of your coop early on a cold morning. If it's damp, or wet, you need more ventilation.

Doesn't look like it. So.e birds just have shading on their legs, especially if they're not to standard

RIRs females tend to get brown wash more than other birds. It is pretty rare among chickens as a whole. I read @nicalandia talk about it before. I find it quite interesting. I will link the post.

Many thanks!!! I thought I was carefully watching them but think this coloration has just started getting darker - wow - from worried to maybe something rare!!! Not a bad twist!!!
