I had a predator get inside my run, I believe the predator was a rat, possibly a weasel? One of my Blue Laced Red Wyandotte hens lost an awful lot of skin from her leg, thigh and abdomen. I washed her with antiseptic soap, and covered the area in triple antibiotic ointment. She has been separated from the rest of the flock, she is eating and drinking some. She was injured Wednesday night, it's been 2 days since the attack, I checked her wounds today and they appear green to me. I took a pic, then blue coated her. Her wound looks very green to me. She's limping pretty badly.

Bruising in chicken skin looks very much like the green skin in the lower left corner of the picture. I have only seen pictures of bruising, but I would think that is what you are seeing there. The very bright turqoise color looks unusual. Real gangrene in an extremity looks black and smells rotten.
